Welcome to the Study
Thank you for considering participation in this research study exploring ear-training progression, vocal intonation, and listening awareness among singers.
This study is designed for adult singers and or voice teachers who are willing to record their voices in a short online assessments.
Participants will be encouraged to use the same device, headphones, microphone, and recording setup throughout the study to ensure consistency across assessments. This website will allow you to do your assessments and fill in your forms.
Participation is entirely voluntary. There is no financial compensation, although participants may find value in the learning experience and increased awareness of listening and intonation processes.
Your privacy is important. All collected data, recordings, and questionnaire responses will remain confidential and will be securely stored, including any online meetings, if those are included in your personal journey in this study. The data will be used only for research purposes and will become anonymized when published. In other words, participants' names and identifying information will not appear in any publication or presentation resulting from this study.
You may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty and without needing to provide a reason.
This study is approved by the Wales Trinity University Ethics Committee.

Eligibility
Please answer the following questions. All criteria must be met to participate.
Are you 18 or older?
Are you currently singing or teaching voice?
Do you have basic knowledge of musical intervals?
Are you willing to complete online assessment tasks once a week for approximately one month (10-15 minutes each)?
Are you willing to record yourself using this website in a quiet room?

Use a unique passphrase of at least 8 characters that you don't use on other sites. For your security, common or previously breached passwords (e.g. password123, testtest) will be rejected. A short phrase with a number or symbol works well — for example river-voice-92! or quiet-morning-tea7.
